How do I get started with my case?
Call our office or use the contact form to book your free consultation. An advocate will review your matter and advise on the best way forward.
How will I be kept updated on my case?
Your advocate will update you regularly by phone, email or in person, whichever you prefer. You should never have to ask where your matter stands.
Can I request a specific advocate?
Yes. Ask for them when you book your consultation. Our team page lists every advocate with their email address, so you can also contact them directly.
Do you handle cases outside Kampala?
Yes. Our offices are in Kampala, but we act on matters across Uganda and advise on matters with cross-border elements within East Africa.
How long does a case usually take?
It depends on the matter. Transactional work such as company formation or contract drafting can take days; litigation can take months or longer. We give you a realistic estimate once we have reviewed your case.
How are legal fees structured?
Depending on the matter, we work on hourly rates, fixed fees for defined tasks, or retainers for ongoing clients. We agree the fee arrangement with you in writing before any work begins.
What should I bring to my first consultation?
Any documents that relate to your matter: contracts, correspondence, court notices or property documents. The more we see, the more precisely we can advise you.
